Big Book Study

From Surrender to Service: Perspectives on Recovery From the Book,

Alcoholics Anonymous

Presenters:  Chris S. and Ron B.

Friday, 6/7/02, 7 PM through
Sunday, 6/9/02, 1 PM

At the NYS Nurses Association Building

11 Cornell Road, Airport Park, Latham, NY

The Anonymous Foundation is pleased to sponsor this Big Book Study.  We at the Foundation hope the 3-day program, from Friday evening through Sunday noon, will benefit those in recovery, as well as their family members, to better work the 12 Steps.  This advance notice is given to HMB Area residents to give them the first chance to pre-register.  Seating capacity is limited and those first registered are ensured a seat.  We expect this program to fill up in a short period of time once the full mailing is done.

The presenters, Chris S. and Ron B. hail from northern New Jersey.  They have been leading the Big Book Study weekends for four years and have been well received.  We have listened to their tapes and can recommend them highly.  Ozzie, from the Wilson House, and Glenn K., the tape guy, also recommend this Big Book Study by Chris and Ron.

Registration for the weekend program is $50.00.  The fee includes beverages for the entire event, lunch on Saturday, and a complete audio-tape set of the weekend.  This Big Book Study alone usually costs $80.00, with no free lunch and no free tape set.  The actual costs, beyond the registration, are underwritten by the Anonymous Foundation.  No refunds will be given once you have registered, but if your plans change, you can find someone else to take your reservation.  You will receive written confirmation and more details about the weekend once you have registered.

Please share this invitation with others. Chris and Ron are dynamic and challenging.  They are the next generation of Big Book Study presenters, following the rich tradition established by Joe and Charlie. We look forward to seeing you at the Big Book Study weekend titled, “From Surrender to Service: Perspectives on Recovery From the Book, Alcoholics Anonymous”.
